A Scientist needs their own laboratory. If you are just starting out make a kitchen lab, with your parent's permission, of course. It is always a good idea to have an adult watch your experiments the first time you do them. They might learn something, you won't get into trouble taking their supplies, and it's just safer that way!!! Get the following materials and safety always comes first!

1.  Safety glasses, Lab Coat, Lab Notebook, A willing Adult, Pencils, Protractor, Ruller, Clean Work Area,etc. 2.  String, Balloons, Laser Pointer, 100 ft. of thin insulated wire, Magnets, Compass, 4-6" steel bolt, Clear 12 oz. Glasses, Bottles, Coffee Filters, Teaspoon, and other measuring equipment. In other words, as much as you can of what you see us use in our lessons. Which are also Free!!! I didn't say this would be easy, but you can start out small and add on as you think of new experiments you want to do. There are good Science sites on the Internet and they have to make a living just like anyone else. Science has been good to me and I just want to give something back so you should start by taking as many of our lessons as you can to get some Science under your belt.    

3. Chemicals: Baking Soda, Vinegar, Food Coloring, Hydrogen Peroxide, Ammonia (non-detergent), Sugar, Iodine crystals or Tincture of Iodine at the pharmacy, and as many cooking supplies your parents will let you put into labeled bottles. There will be more, and more experiments as the weeks go by. I will need feedback from you to let me know what you want!!! I will make up kits for a fee, but I prefer to keep this for free. I started my Science career with a Chenistry set and a Science Reference Book. A chemistry set is great!
